While not every work environment has the resources to provide traditional health and dental benefits for their employees there are alternatives that can save both you and your employees both time and money. At Health Smile we have created a dental hygiene health care delivery model that meets the underserved, efficiently and affordably.
Healthy Smile Mobile Dental Hygiene Inc. provides mobile dental hygiene services on-site via our fully equipped hygiene health care van (see enclosed). Services include oral cancer screening and examination, dental cleaning and polishing to remove deposits and stain, treatment of gum disease, tooth whitening, preventive services including fluoride, desensitizing, dental sealants, sports guards, and oral health related education.
On-site service delivery means less absenteeism (no travel time to and from appointments), lower costs, improved health of your employees and happier employees (a reduction in unpaid time off work for dental appointments and a feeling of being cared for by their employer). Preventive dental health services mean fresher breath, brighter smiles, fewer cavities, earlier detection of existing problems, improved overall health, and happier/healthier employees.
For your organization Healthy Smile will:
- collect payment directly from the insurance company (accept insurance assignment) where the company or employee already have dental benefits
- waive insurance co-payment (where one exists)
- where dental or insurance coverage does not exist, the charge for one hour appointment is $100 [in `traditional`practice a one hour visit would consist of an exam ($83 for new patients, 24.20 for returning patients) 45minutes of scaling (92.10) , polish (32.70), fluoride (13.30) under the BC Dentists fee guide = $220-162.]
- all new clients will receive $20 gift card of their choice at the first appointment
- patients will be referred to a dentists or other professional for any necessary treatment or identified concerns
- where employees (patients) already have a dentist, a record of treatment and or follow-up can be provided with your receipt. Seeing Healthy Smile for your hygiene treatment does not prevent you from returning to your regular dentist for other/follow-up treatments
- services are not restricted to employees. Management and employee family members are most welcome and our gift card offer applies all new clients.
